Rayagada Division Observes Constitution Day at DRM Camp Office
Officers and Staff Reaffirm Commitment to Constitutional Values
Rayagada, 26 November: Constitution Day was observed with due solemnity and respect at the DRM Camp Office, Rayagada, where officers and staff of various departments gathered to commemorate the adoption of the Indian Constitution.
The programme began with the collective reading of the Preamble, led by the Divisional Railway Manager (DRM). Officers and employees joined in the recital, reaffirming their dedication to the core values of justice, liberty, equality and fraternity, which form the foundation of the nation’s democratic framework.
Staff from key departments—including Operating, Commercial, Electrical, Mechanical, and Engineering—were present during the observance. The DRM appreciated the active participation of all departments and highlighted the importance of embedding constitutional values in daily work culture and service to the public.
The brief yet meaningful ceremony reflected the Rayagada Division’s commitment to uphold the spirit of the Constitution and honour the vision of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar and the members of the Constituent Assembly.
