*BREAKING: Nagavali Express Derails Near Gotlam Railway Station*
Rayagada /Visakhapatnam, A major rail accident was averted on [date] when the Nagavali Superfast Express (Train No. 20810) derailed near Gotlam railway station in Andhra Pradesh.
According to railway officials, the incident occurred at 11:59 hours when the last two general coaches (ECO-11163 and ECO-134986) of the train derailed at KM No. 817/27.
Fortunately, no casualties or injuries were reported in the incident. The first 20 coaches of the train passed safely towards the RGDA side, but the last two coaches derailed after passing the class over point towards the CHE side. Railway authorities have launched an investigation into the incident to determine the cause of the derailment.
The Nagavali Express runs from Sambalpur to H Sahib Nanded, covering a total journey duration of 26 hours and 55 minutes, with 21 halts along its route.This incident has raised concerns about rail safety in the region, and authorities have assured that necessary measures will be taken to prevent such incidents in the future.
