RKVS Organizes Health Camp and Walkathon in Collaboration with Indus Hospital
Rayagada, 29th September 2025 — In a commendable effort to promote community wellness and mark World Heart Day, the RKVS Sangham organized a Health Camp today in collaboration with Indus Hospital, Visakhapatnam, at the Sangham Office.

The camp focused on Heart and Orthopedic check-ups, offering free diagnostic tests including 2D Echo and ECG to all registered members. The medical team was led by:
Dr. Rakesh Tumula, Gold Medalist Cardiologist
Dr. B. Ganga Raju, Orthopedic Specialist
The health camp witnessed a strong turnout, with 80 patients attending for cardiology consultations and 40 patients for orthopedic check-ups. To further encourage heart health and unity, a Walkathon was held earlier in the morning, beginning at 6:00 AM from the RKVS Office, drawing enthusiastic participation from members across all age groups.
Speaking on the occasion, Secretary Tankala Jayaram expressed gratitude for the collaboration and the overwhelming response from members. “This event is not just about health check-ups—it’s about walking together toward a healthier, more connected community,” he said.
