Big Achievement by GUNPUR police
During investigation it is found that the above noted accd. and 02 minor boys committed theft of 04 numbers of above mentioned motorcycles. Details as follows-
On 03.06.2024, they went to Vishakhapatnam and committed theft of a yellow Yamaha R15 motorcycle from the seashore.
On 17.06.2024, they went to Paralakhemundi and stole a white TVS Apache motorcycle from the bus stand.
On 16.07.2024, they went to the Sub-Collector’s office in Gunupur and stole a black TVS Apache 160 motorcycle bearing registration number OD 14 Q 2320.
On 15.07.2024, they went to Laxman Dhepa Street in Gunupur and stole a blue Yamaha R15 motorcycle bearing registration number OD 18 J 6995 and mortgaged the same for Rs. 8,000 with Abinash Lima of Gudari and divided the cash equally among themselves. They committed these thefts to obtain illegal money by selling the stolen motorcycles in the future.
All the 04 stolen motorcycles have been seized from the exclusive possession of accused Kunil @ Kunal Mishal and 02 CCL. They have been arrested/apprehended and today will be forwarded to the court. The investigation is continuing and their involvement in other cases are under verification.
