Vigilance Department Catches CDPO and Clerk Red-Handed in Rayagada
The Vigilance department has apprehended CDPO Sushila Sabar and clerk Ram Chandra Patra in Rayagada district’s Vishamkatak block for allegedly accepting a bribe. The duo was caught red-handed while taking ₹80,000 in bribe money from an Anganwadi worker.
According to sources, the Vigilance department received a tip-off about the bribery and laid a trap, leading to the arrest of Sushila Sabar. The bribe was related to the recruitment of Anganwadi workers, and the money was taken from Anganwadi worker from Chatikana panchayat’s Huteshi village.
Rayagada Vigilance Inspector Tarulata Behera confirmed the arrest and provided more details about the case. The investigation is ongoing
