Awareness Campaigns Launched to Prevent Forest Fires in Singpur Range, Sikai Village Benefits
Rayagada :- In a bid to prevent forest fires and promote conservation, the Singpur Range’s Shikarpai Section of the Forest Department has launched a series of awareness campaigns in various villages, including Sikapai Village. Led by Forester Pradipt Kumar Jena, the campaigns aim to educate residents about the importance of preserving forests and their ecosystem.
The awareness programs, conducted in multiple villages, cover crucial topics such as the dangers of forest fires, the need to avoid wildlife hunting, and the importance of sustainable forest management. The campaigns also highlight the impact of forest degradation on human livelihoods and the environment.
Forest beat Guard Surya Patnaik and the Fire Squad participated in the programs, engaging with villagers and providing valuable insights on forest conservation.
