Aditya Alumina Refinery Celebrates World Environment Day
Rayagada, Odisha – Aditya Alumina Refinery, a unit of Hindalco Industries Limited under the Aditya Birla Group, celebrated World Environment Day with great enthusiasm. The event was marked by active participation from employees and the local community.
The event focused on this year’s global theme, “Beat Plastic Pollution,” emphasizing the importance of reducing plastic use and promoting sustainable practices. The refinery’s efforts towards environmental conservation and sustainability were showcased through various initiatives.
As part of the celebration, a tree transplantation drive was conducted to enhance green cover and promote ecological balance in and around the refinery premises.
