Cuttack : Since its inception in 2018 Shyamala Subarna Agro has been working relentlessly towards sustainable agricultural development and farmers’ empowerment in the state of Odisha. This pioneering enterprise promotes organic farming practices across 18 districts in the state, along with marketing organic products. Shyamala Subarna Agro began its journey from Basudevpur, Bhadrak district and has made significant strides in supporting women empowerment and making agricultural information accessible through digital means.Recently Shyamala Subarna Agro has received Runner-up award as a recognition of outstanding contribution in the field of Agriculture in Yuva Prativa Samman 2025, a prestigious youth talent program organised by Argus News .The Honourable Chief Minister, Odisha,Shri Mohan Charan Majhi, and Honourable Minister for Youth and Higher Education, Shri Suryavanshi Suraj, presented the award, encouraging Shyamala Subarna Agro to further elevate their unwavering dedication for the development of the agrarian community of the state.As Odisha’s economy heavily relies on agriculture, this achievement marks a significant step towards strengthening the state’s economy.With ambitious plans to empower 10 lakh farmers in organic farming, Shyamala Subarna Agro is poised to make a lasting impact.
