Rotary club of Rourkela Vibrant organised an awareness programme
Rourkela: Rotary club of Rourkela Vibrant organised an awareness programme on Women Empowerment for the Self Help Groups at Fertilizer township. Fifty number of SHG lady members from different areas participated in the project .At the beginning each participant was greeted by the President of the Club Rtn Dr Minati Panda with a rose buds and small gift .Welcome song was presented by Rtn Ajit Mohan Pujari. Rtn P.R Patra ,District co- chairman ,Women Empowerment committee addressed the gathering about the motto and activities of Rotary International.President Rtn Professor Minati Panda spoke about “Women empowerment at the grassroot level “
Speaker Rtn Bijaylaxmi Tripathy, retired Project Director of SOS village spoke about” SHG and livelihood. ” . Rtn B K Tanty,retired bank manager spoke on “Role of SBI for SHGS ” .Media person Sri Saroj Kumar Behera was felicitated for his contribution to the society. Rotary branded Umbrellas and snacks were distributed to all the participants . At the end Rtn Archana Debata offered vote of thanks. Master of the function Rtn Ajit Mohan Pujari conducted the programme in a lively way .All the ladies were delighted and expressed their learnings as participants. Rotarians were Dr Panda, Archana Debata, Prasanta Ranjan Patra,Dr Sanjukta Pati, Basanta Kumar Tanty, Ajit Mohan Pujari, Bijaylaxmi Tripathy, Anita Nayak were present on this occasion.
