DRM Rayagada Launches Swachhata Hi Seva 2025 Campaign
Rayagada, The 9th edition of the SwachhataHi Seva (SHS) 2025 campaign under the Swachh Bharat Mission was launched today at Rayagada with nationwide enthusiasm. The fortnight-long drive, being observed from September 17 to October 2, will culminate on Gandhi Jayanti with mass cleanliness activities across the country.
At Rayagada Railway Station, Divisional Railway Manager (DRM), Shri Amitabh Singhal, led the inaugural programme and administered the Swachhata Pledge to railway officers, staff, and a large gathering of colony residents, reaffirming their collective commitment to cleanliness. Senior branch officers of various departments also took part in the drive.
Addressing the gathering, DRM Shri Amitabh Singhal said that during the Swachhata Hi Seva 2025 campaign, Rayagada Division will organize a series of activities including door-to-door awareness campaigns, intensive cleanliness drives, Swachh Food Initiatives, and competitions aligned with the objectives of the Swachh Bharat Mission.
He emphasized the importance of public participation in making cleanliness a sustainable habit and urged all stakeholders to actively contribute to the success of the campaigns
