Adult literacy school opening at Kantajhar
Rourkela: Rotary Club of Rourkela Vibrant organised opening of adult literacy school at community center of south Kantajhar, Rourkela . DGE Rtn Alam Singh Roopra was the chief guest on the occasion. Welcome 
address was by Club President Dr Minati Panda .She told about Rotary and voluntary social services at the club level for the upliftment of the underprivileged. Project chairman Rtn Prasanta Ranjan Patra spoke about the project duration, examination and it’s benefit in day today life. Chief guest Rtn Alam ji expressed happiness and praised the club activities. He assured the students for livelihood Projects for their financial independence. Each participant was greeted with rose bud ,study materials and eco-friendly cotton bag .Lilima Rout ,an educated and voluntary social worker from the area has given consent for 
teaching.Thirty adult students have registered for the course. At the end vote of thanks was given by Club secretary Rtn Dr Krishna Pramanik.Rtn Ajit Mohan Pujari conducted the programme in a lively way . Snacks were distributed among all.Other Rotarians present were Dr Nibedita Roy and Anita Nayak.
Ramesh Mahali,Mangi,Chotu Kerketa,Gouri Munda,Sunita Mahato,Budhni Oram , Ramsing Bhumij,Sanjay Mahali,Chuni from Kantajhar were present along with others and participated in the meeting .
