Rayagada Sai Priya Walkers Club Organizes Heart Disease Awareness Camp
Rayagada: The Rayagada Sai Priya Walkers Club organized a heart disease awareness camp at the residence of Dr. M. Suresh Kumar, a renowned eye specialist and past president of the club.
The program was attended by around 30 active members of the club. Dr. Laxmi Narayan Sahu, a national-level primary care trainer, was the chief guest and spoke about the causes and prevention of heart disease. He emphasized the importance of a balanced diet, regular exercise, and avoiding smoking and alcohol consumption.
Dr. Sahu also stressed the need for regular health check-ups, including monitoring of blood pressure, blood sugar, and cholesterol levels. He demonstrated the proper technique for administering CPR during a heart attack.
The program was inaugurated by club president Walker Sri KESN Sharma, who also felicitated Dr. Sahu. Past president Walker Dr. M. Suresh Kumar was present and oversaw the entire program.
The event concluded with a vote of thanks by past president Walker Sri Subas Chandra Behera.
