NILAVADI SRI SRI AGNIGANGA MAA THAKURANI HUNDI OPENS, RECEIVES LAKHS IN DONATIONS
Rayagada, March 21 // The hundi of Sri Sri Agniganga Maa Thakurani, a revered deity in southern Odisha, was opened today, revealing a staggering amount of donations.
The hundi, which was opened in the presence of Bhandugan Tahasildar Sonali Patra and members of the puja committee, contained ₹22,72, 869 in cash and Gold 3.5 grm silver 1.69 grm.
According to sources, the donations include a significant amount of gold and silver ornaments, apart from cash. A devotee from Andhra Pradesh’s Vizianagaram district donated 1 kg of silver to the deity.
The counting of donations is currently underway, and the exact amount is expected to be revealed later today.
The Sri Sri Agniganga Maa Thakurani temple is a renowned shrine in southern Odisha, attracting devotees from across the region.
Out of the total collection, 22,72869 has been deposited in the UGB bank, Bandhugaon. Ticket sales and hair tender collections are yet to be deposited.
