Forest Fire Prevention Awareness Meeting Held in Lakshmipur
A forest fire prevention awareness meeting was recently held at the Lakshmipur forest range office, led by Forest Range Officer Kumar Khara. The meeting aimed to educate locals on protecting forests and the environment.
Key attendees included MLA Pabita Sounta, who emphasized the importance of planting trees to preserve the environment and taking an oath to protect forests and wildlife. Social worker Sangeeta Mishra discussed the significance of forest conservation and presented an article on the topic.
Gopeshwar Garada, a representative of Green India, was honored for planting trees with his own funds. Other participants included local dignitaries, forest officials, and community members, such as Lakshmipur Forest forester ,Rashmiranjan Biswal, Purnachandra Koleka, and Narayanpatna forester Lakshmi Prasad Pattnayak, N Annand.
The meeting concluded with a refreshment arrangement for guests and attendees.
