BJD Stages Protest Over Statue Vandalism
Rayagada, April 15: The Biju Janata Dal (BJD) Rayagada unit organized a protest at Kapilas Junction today condemning the vandalism of legendary leader Biju Patnaik’s statue in Patnagarh.
The protest, led by senior leader N. Bhaskar Rao, saw participation from prominent figures, including former MLA Lal Bhari Himirika, Municipality Chairman Mahesh Patnaik, Binayak Koro, and Santosh Dolei. hundreds of biju karmi joined the protest.
The demonstrators strongly condemned the incident and demanded action against those responsible for the vandalism. The protest highlighted the party’s commitment to protecting the legacy of its icons and responding to incidents of vandalism.
