79th Independence Day Celebrated at Aditya Alumina Refinery
Rayagada, Aug 15: The spirit of patriotism and unity was on full display at the Aditya Alumina Refinery, Kansariguda, as the company celebrated the 79th Independence Day of India with grandeur. The refinery, a unit of Hindalco Industries Limited under the Aditya Birla Group, hosted the event with the participation of employees, their families, and local stakeholders.
The celebrations began with the ceremonial hoisting of the National Flag, followed by the National Anthem. Senior officials of the refinery addressed the gathering, recalling the sacrifices of freedom fighters and emphasizing the company’s role in contributing to nation-building and sustainable industrial growth.
Employees showcased their patriotic zeal through cultural performances, songs, and speeches. Sweets were distributed among all attendees, creating an atmosphere of joy and togetherness.
The event concluded with resounding chants of “Jai Hind”, symbolizing pride and dedication to the country.
