Preparatory Meeting Held for the Celebration of the 3rd Death Anniversary of Smt.Sanjukta Devi.
Cuttack : A preparatory meeting was held to organise the third death anniversary observance of Smt. Sanjukta Devi an ideal woman of remarkable talent and a deeply religious and respected personality from Zone No.46 on the outskirts of Salipur Block.
The meeting was organised by the social organisation Sanjukta Memorial Charitable Trust and was held at Sampurna Resort in Sishuа Salipur.
The third death anniversary of Smt. Sanjukta Devi will be observed at her native village Sogal on September 12 (Saturday). Various programmes have been planned for the occasion including a tribute meeting,blood donation camp,release of a commemorative publication, and several other social welfare and service activities.
The meeting was attended by Santosh Kumar Raut, younger son of Smt. Sanjukta Devi Convener of the Sanjukta Devi Memorial Committee and Chairperson of the Trust, as well as General Secretary of the BJP Cuttack District (Rural), politician and social worker and Others present included Manoranjan Raut, Kishore Mahanti, Trilochan Patra, Ramesh Kumar Raut, Amulya Kumar Kar, along with several office-bearers and members of the Trust. They discussed various aspects of the arrangements and preparations for the upcoming memorial programme.
