Cuttack : Various service oriented and cultural programmes were organised on the occasion of the third death anniversary of Sanjukta Rout former Zilla Parishad member from Ward No.46 under the Krishnanagar PS Salipur Assembly Constituency.All paid tribute to the memory of Sanjukta Rout.A blood donation camp was organised,where 21 units of blood were collected. Saplings were also distributed among the people followed by a tree plantation.A News paper “Sampurna” was also launched.A Bhajan Sandhya was organised Artists from the Kandarpur Saraswati Kala Parishad, under the direction of dramatist Ashok Pattnaik presented an awareness oriented performance based on the theme of “Mother.”Thus, the third death anniversary of Sanjukta Rout was observed through various activities focusing on service,honour, felicitation and and cultural programmes.Among those present were politicians Ram Narayan Mohanty,Harekrushna Mohanty and Rudra Panda; BCT Secretary Prince Nanda,litterateur Dilip Biswal,Pandit Sripati Acharya,lecturer Basudev Swain,Trust Chairman and younger son Santosh Rout,elder son Er.Basanta Rout, Husband Ballabh Rout, educationalist Sarat Chandra Patra,Krushna Chandra Mishra,Durga Prasad Mishra,Er.Sebak Srikant among others.
