Rashtriya Ekta Diwas Observed at DRM Office, Rayagada
Rayagada, October 31: The National Unity Day (Rashtriya Ekta Diwas) was celebrated with patriotic fervour at the DRM/Rayagada Camp Office on Friday, marking the 150th birth anniversary of the Iron Man of India, Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel.
On this occasion, Shri Amitabh Singhal, Divisional Railway Manager (DRM), Rayagada, administered the Rashtriya Ekta Diwas Pledge to officers and staff, reaffirming the commitment to uphold the unity, integrity, and security of the nation.
Senior officials including Shri S. N. Das, Senior Divisional Electrical Engineer; Shri Rajendra Kumar, Assistant Divisional Engineer; and Shri B. K. Mohanty, Assistant Divisional Electrical Engineer, along with officers and employees from various departments—Commercial, Civil, Electrical, Operating, Mechanical, RPF, and Signal & Telecom—participated in the event with enthusiasm.
The programme highlighted Sardar Patel’s monumental role in unifying the country and inspired all railway personnel to dedicate themselves towards national integrity and progress.
