Auspicious Soil Collected for Shyama Kali Puja.
Cuttack : On the occasion of sacred Sunia festival and Vamana Utsav observed on Shukla Dwadashi of the month of Bhadraba an auspicious soil collection ceremony was conducted for Maa Shyama Kali by the Narayani Kali Puja Committee of Baral 42 Mouza.Following all prescribed rituals and traditions,prayers and worship were performed at the sacred Kathajodi River after which auspicious soil was ceremonially collected.
The Bhumi Puja ceremony was conducted on behalf of the committee by Pandit Bapi Nana Ji.Gayak Gopal Beura performed the role of the Karta (chief ritual participant).
The programme was successfully organized with the cooperation of committee president Biswaranjan Beura, secretary Laxmidhar Beura,Ananda Beura, Bhaskar Behera,actor Sudhanshu Beura, Arakhita Jena,Jyana Ranjan Jena,Santosh Kumar Sahu,Prasant Lenka,Sukuta Sahu,Dula Bhoi and Rajan Sahu among others.The programme managed by social worker Subash Chandra Sahu.
