World Environment Day Celebrated at JK Paper Mill in Rayagada
Rayagada, – JK Paper Mill recently celebrated World Environment Day with great enthusiasm, emphasizing the importance of environmental conservation. The event was attended by Vinay Dwivedi, Executive Vice-President (Operations), who planted a sapling to kick-start the program. Nearly 1,000 trees were planted by employees to promote sustainability and environmental protection.
The event highlighted the importance of minimizing plastic use in daily activities to reduce environmental pollution. The speakers emphasized the urgent need to reduce plastic use and promote sustainability. They highlighted the alarming levels of plastic pollution and its impact on the environment, stressing that minimizing plastic use is crucial to preventing a potential environmental disaster.
