Rotary Club of Rourkela Steel City Organizes Inspiring Teachers’ Training Seminar at DAV Public School
Rourkela : The Rotary Club of Rourkela Steel City successfully hosted a Teachers’ Training Seminar at DAV Public School, Sector-16, as part of its ongoing commitment to community development through education.
The seminar, titled Empowering Young Minds: Improve Focus, Memory & Self-Study Quality of Students” was attended by enthusiastic educators and dignitaries, including school principal Mr. Rajesh Dash, who welcomed the Rotary initiative and stressed the need for continuous teacher development to match the evolving challenges in student learning. The keynote session was delivered by Rtn. Dr. Suraj Kumar Nayak, Founder & CEO of Clavimate and a well-known educational psychologist. In his interactive session, Dr. Nayak introduced scientific approaches to boost student focus, memory retention, and self-study discipline — emphasizing the role of teachers as habit mentors in today’s rapidly changing academic environment.
The event was enriched by the gracious presence and coordination of several Rotary members, including Rtn. Nameeta Acharya, Rtn. Rashmibala Routray, Rtn. Rashmi Rani Mishra, Rtn. Nivedita Mohanty, Rtn. Anjali Satpathy. Rotary Club Secretary Rtn. Rashmi Rani Mishra expressed deep gratitude to the host school and reaffirmed Rotary’s commitment to advancing education by empowering teachers with meaningful tools and insights. The seminar was part of a broader Rotary mission to promote value-based and skill-driven education, aligning with the National Education Policy’s goals.
